A Simple Act of Obedience
The story of Ark Haven began many years ago with a simple act of obedience. In the early 1970’s, a young believer named Ken Uptegrove was given a divine vision. He was called to make preparations for an intentional neighborhood that would serve as a safe-zone for God’s remnant in the end times. As the years turned into decades, this young man persevered in his calling, knowing God was faithful and not limited, like men, by time.
And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. (Joel 2:28)
The Evidence of Things Unseen
God often fulfills his desires through sacrifice, hardship and most of all, through relationship. After five decades of waiting, praying and trusting, the young man, now in the twilight of his years, is witnessing the fulfillment of his vision and God’s will. TODAY, more than 3,000 acres of raw Ozark hill country is giving way to God-fearing individuals and families. Preparations are underway and just like obedience to the Father was required at the start, so it is with those of us who have been called to cooperate in seeing the vision become a reality.

The Gathering Place is not just a place to have a Church service but has also been used as an event center for movie nights, game nights, baby showers and community meetings.
